You can use your own insurance to cover damages, purchase our insurance, or pay out of pocket on the day of the accident. Please note that you are responsible for all damage done to our rental, regardless of who is at fault, upon return. You are responsible for making a claim with your insurer for reimbursement. You’ll need to verify what your insurer covers prior to us sending your rental documents. If you use your insurance and purchase ours, our insurance may duplicate your existing coverage.

All of our travel trailers are covered through our Commercial Insurance. We do not sell insurance.

Minimum liability insurance is NOT included in our daily rates. This means you DO NOT have minimum protection against claims from other people while renting our travel trailers. This means IF you are using your vehicle to tow our travel trailer and you back into another person’s camper, doing damage to the rental, the other camper, and another person. Our insurance will cover ONLY the damage to our travel trailer. It will not cover the other camper, OR the injured individual. In order to acquire this protection, you have (2) Options.

Contact your own vehicle insurance company and ask them if you have insurance coverage that extends to a rental travel trailer attached to your vehicle OR if they offer such coverage for you to purchase short term. If they do, submit a copy of this to us with your signed rental agreement.

A. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) (STATE MINIMUM LIMITS ARE: $5,000 property damage you may cause to other vehicles or property etc. $15,000 for personal injuries to other people, with a max of $30,000.)

B. Optional Additional Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) - $12.95/Day 

This insurance will help protect you ABOVE state minimum limits, should you injure another person in an accident, or damage the property of another while towing or stationary with our travel trailers. (Liability Limits increase to: 75,000 per person Bodily Injury limit per Accident and $50,000 Property Damage limit per Accident, with a max of $300,000.)

C. Optional Personal Accident & Effects (PAI/PEI) - $5.95/Day 

This policy gives you and your passengers coverage for accidental death benefits, ($50,000 renter, $5,000 passenger), and $525 max per person Personal Effects/belongings coverage. PAI pays in addition to any other insurance that the renter and passenger may have.

**You are responsible for towing charges, impound fees or recovery of the vehicle back to Kim’s Cozy Campers LLC location**Your insurance is always the primary insurance in the case of a claim.
No insurance covers a lockout service or key replacement.
Insurance is null and void if driver is negligent or driving in an area restricted by our terms.

You can choose either MBA insurances, your own insurance, if applicable, or no added insurance at all. The choice is yours.

IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE TO INSURE OUR TRAVEL TRAILERS, YOU ARE NOT PROTECTED, PROPERTY YOU MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO OR INJURIES YOU MAY CAUSE TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL WILL NEED TO BE PAID BY YOU DIRECTLY.

To purchase the insurance offered through Kim’s Cozy Campers LLC, complete the following steps:

3. Click the check box to confirm “Yes, this is my Rental Operator”

4. Select rental dates from the calendar

5. Enter the last six digits of the rental VIN number (located above and in an email sent 2 days prior to check-in) and select "check availability"

6. Number of days will be next to Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI)

7. Select yes or no to purchasing the Additional Supplemental Liability Insurance (Additional SLI) $12.95 per day

7. Select yes or no to purchasing Personal Accident/Personal Effects Insurance (PAI / PEI) $5.95 per day

8. Enter in the requested Renter's Information

Generali Insurance offers BOTH Trip Cancelation/Interruption Insurance & Interior Damage Protection Insurance

Generali Interior Damage Protection Insurance protects you from paying repair costs if damage occurs to the inside of the vehicle. (They pay up to $3,000.00) If interior damage is reported on the return inspection, we will hold your security deposit until we receive insurance claim funds. $55 per reservation.

Generali Trip Insurance is travel insurance that has an option for interior damage protection. 7.95% of the total reservation.

NOTE: Not available for New York or Hawaii residents. AND this travel insurance is ONLY for your camping trip. It does not cover prior airfare, rental cars, or post camping trip vacations.
